The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre is pleased to announce that it is now part of the national NeCTAR Research Cloud Federation. The Pawsey Research Cloud node is housed within the state of the art Pawsey Centre, Perth, WA.

As the NeCTAR Research Cloud is exclusively for research purposes, everyone applying for resources must be affiliated with a research organisation (such as a University) and have a credential only provided by the Australian Access Federation (AAF). More details on gaining an AAF credential are available from the AAF’s web site.

Once you have an AAF credential, please visit the NeCTAR Dashboard and request Cloud resources by logging on.

From the left hand Project Menu, please select “New Request” and then populate the form provided, before clicking the submit button. An example of the current application form (accurate of January 2015) is provided below for reference purposes. Please allow 2-3 weeks for an application to be considered in all cases.
