Research Data Storage Infrastructure (RDSI) Project

Research Data Storage Infrastructure (RDSI) Project (now concluded), was initiative of the Australian Government Department of Education. The RDSI project aimed to develop a national network of distributed data stores where research data is readily accessed, analysed and re-used to support integration of nationally significant data assets, enhancing access and sharing of research data. The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre is one of eight locations in Australia which were selected through a competitive process to build RDSI Data Stores.

Although the RDSI Project has now concluded, the RDSI Funded Data Storage infrastructure will remain at iVEC and continue to be operated until at the end of least 2016. There will be no disruption in service.

The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre now invites researchers to apply for storage who have more than 5TB at the point of application. In all cases – please complete the application form provided.
